Ipswich Building Preservation Trust: Curson Lodge. 45-47 St Nicholas Street and 1 Silent Street, Ipswich. Rescue of a 15th century, Grade II* Listed, timber-framed former inn, completed in 2007. The project involved resolving significant structural problems and a general refurbishment to update and provide high quality accommodation. It was funded by the Trust's own capital, an AHF loan, and grants from English Heritage and Ipswich Borough Council. The building was repaired, altered and refurbished, then sold; it is in use as shops with accommodation above.
